You are absolutely right, your Mother was one...Deb,
You are absolutely right, your Mother was one of the most kind, care giving, and faithful servants to God, that I have ever known.
I would like to tell you a fun story about her. She and your Dad came to see us for Ken's Birthday a few years back. We were in a crowded place and while the boys were catching up on their goings on, your Mom and I went to the $ Store and bought balloons and silly string. We went back to where the boys were and we sang at the top of our lungs, Happy Birthday. She then sprayed the silly string all over him. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
I was so blessed to have her as a friend for so many years. We went back to 3rd grade. We had some GREAT Memories.
She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and loved your Dad so much.
Stay strong and remember that her love for you never ends.
God Bless you and the Family.

Pastor Ruben Torres.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10002736769155548367noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4050410978229175568.post-77674332137191467592016-08-24T23:01:09.528-07:002016-08-24T23:01:09.528-07:00I only met your mother once but it was clear that ...I only met your mother once but it was clear that she was a giant...a giant heart, a giant of determination, and perserverance, of dedication to her church and her Savior, and without a doubt, dedication to her family. It does not surprise me that she faced her cancer head on. She didn't seem to be intimidated by much. A lion in woman's clothing, much like her daughter. In these days of grief I hope you will receive the love and caring of your new faith community. Something tells me they will be invaluable in the days and weeks ahead. rest, dear Sue.
