One of my favorite profs from seminary sent me an email this morning with a link to the song "St. Jerome--"The Thunderer"". It's good both musically and theologically. The above quote comes from the song, which you can listen to here.

Deb, When I clicked your link I got Sissel's song, Love, will you marry me? I like Sissel so I wasn't disappointed, but it leaves me wondering about the song you were referencing in your post...
wow, a marriage proposal. a nice cap to the year deb. def better than predictable new years day proposal. the comments section doesn't make for a great story though.. &:~D
happy new year!
excellent quote
very interesting...definitely no marriage proposals for me. Maybe in 2012! and for me, even when I went back and clicked I got "The Thunderer"...don't know what's up with that. Maybe because it was linked through my prof...it may have some invite hitch or something. Sorry. Here a link to an NPR piece, where there's a portion of it...right about 7:40...it's worth a listen. Probably even worth tracking down on itunes or something to buy it.
